Hi first post and its a weird question..

i seem to have a TT earth and what appears to be a small TN-C-S as well? (there is a small earth wire running from the incomer main terminal block to the consumer unit, but there is also big earth wire running out the consumer unit and out to a metal spike in the ground outside..)

am i leaking electricity into the ground?

the incoming supply, company fuse, meter, consumer unit, earth spike, and the cables between them, especially the green and yellow ones

do you have an overhead or underground supply?

live in town or country?

old or modern house?

i'll take a picture tonight.

overhead supply..
country
old-but totally refurbed..

the meter is in a brick box about 5m away from the property the consumer unit with the dual earth only powers the spetic tank and some outside lights and the shed, theres is then a big terminal block and some even bigger cables that run up to the house (underground.) that go into a normal looking consumer unit, then there is a another earth spike etc..

will take photos will be easy

at a guess, you're on a TT but they've earthed the armour of the cables that run underground...
this is not the same as a suppliers earth..
