After replacing engine in said van it refuses to turn by the key. We took the transiever and key from the donor vehicle, so that we'd have all three parts of the immobiliser system. I.E. Pump, key and transiever. When the key is turned, nothing happens, it's as if one part out of the three is wrong, the guy might have got the new transiever or key mixed up with the old one. We've tried swopping them round but still nothing. I'm going to have another go at it in the morning.
Is there a way to check that all three parts are a match or to reprogram them?

Last engine i changed just needed to change the injector pump over from the old engine and everything was fine.

If you're using the old pump and your old key then it should run.

We're using the new pump but, we've taken the key and transiever from the donor van.

I'm not going to do that. If I have to take the pump off, I'm going to disable the immobiliser on it, I'll then control the anti diesel solenoid from the ignition. I don't really want to do that, I'd rather it was possible to reprogramme or hot wire the immobiliser, without having to take the pump off.
I could get it to go, but I'd like to find a way that's easier than taking the pump off.
