Escort heater Blower

Hi all first time poster here

Right i have a 92 ford escort and the heater blower has stopped working the strange thing is that it stopped twice before and just flipping the nob back and forth got it working again but now its dead.
i am complete dumber when comes to cars but don't have to cash for getting some one to sort any help would be grateful.

if fiddling with the switch gets it working again id hazard a guess that the switch needs replacing

Either the switch or the Rheostat is gone. Usually found inside the blower motor where the cables connect. it''s basically a resistor.

On a vauxhall this is a common fault, the blowers work on full power but not on 1 2 or 3.
