I have an Esquire Gas Fire that is about 3 years old and it wont ignite. It doesn't click when turning the knob. As I understand it the problem maybe with a battery but I don't know where to look. Any ideas please?

Seems to be working now
spark distance may be to great or ingntion lead may need earthing
