Essentials electric shower - help?

I have just replaced a Mira Zest shower with a Essentials shower but have discovered that I have the same issues in that the temp is either too cold or too hot. Could this relate to the water pressure or any suggestions welcome.

is the Essentials shower brand new ?

Yes it is brand new - I replaced a Mira Zest due to what I thought was a fault. Any ideas where i should start to check for faults?

get your mains pressure checked.
you won't have two faulty showers.
do you live in a flat etc ?
how long was the zest installed before playing up ?
was it any time of day or just mornings or evenings ?

Not a flat - previous shower was installed by last owner possible 3 years old. Will get a plumber in to sort was just trying to save £. Thanks anyway.
