Hi Everyone, We live in Mid Wales and have a problem with efflorescence on part of our interior walls. It covers about a 10 ft x 6ft area. We had an estimate from a local builder as follows;- Price for taking off plaster on two walls back to stone work. Tanking to go onto stone work first then dot & dab insulation boards, with a finish plaster to stop damp & salt coming in. He said probably a two day job. £1750. Is this over the top?
