Everest fibreglass flat roof

Hello all,

Got a piece of junk mail from Everest the other day, and was slightly interested in their fibreglass flat roof replacement. According to the spiel, it has no seams, won't ever leak, lasts a lifetime, and is so strong that you can use your roof as a terrace.

Is it as good as it claims? If it has any faults, what are they? How much would I look at shelling out, ballpark? (First floor domestic flat roof, something like 5m x 9m).

You would get 'life' for murdering the Everest salesman, but in reality, you would be out in 10 years.

I depends on if they will guarantee it all its (or your life) and if the costs are more than a similar system from someone without extensive high commission sales team and plush offices.

Yep...........Woodys right. With Everest you are paying for a surveyor a salesman the application team the gaurantee then the profit. It`s an expensive chain. Don`t know what Everest would want but £100 sq. metre is a rough price for contractors........ athough polyester (grp)has gone up a bit recently It`s a good system if done properly. Good conditions make for a better job........ie summer.

List price is 8k for a roof of that size (Mate works for them) The max they can go is 40% off list but the salesman won't get as much commy. They are the most expensive on the planet

Polyroof specialise in GRP roofs, i did a course with them, it's not a bad system if done correctly. You can find them on the net, the also give a guarantee.
