Hi,
I have an evohome system with a combi boiler with radiators, where each radiator is controlled with an HR92 valve (apart from bathrooms). Boiler is controlled by BDR91 relay.
We are now building an extension where we are putting UFH. It will have 3 zones with actuators on the manifold and a corresponding thermostat in each. Controller will be HCC100.
The question has come up whether a 2-port valve is required in front of UFH manifold. I have even gone through HCC100 training material on Resideo academy, and they do show a similar setup without this valve. Logically it seems unnecessary, but I have also done a search here and found different opinions on this.
Should mention that the manifold is physically going to be located next to the boiler, so tees for flow snd return will be close to the boiler too. And also there will be a tmv too
