Hi,

I have a Baxi 105e installed in the bathroom the same room as 1 of our showers. When running the shower in this bathroom, the boiler works perfectly.

Our ensuite shower was working perfectly until last week, when the water pressure in this shower started to drop when showering. It’s ok at first but almost becomes a trickle the longer you are in the shower. Plus the water can go hot and cold.

The pilot light on the boiler goes on and off, hence the hot/cold water.

Normally I’d clean the heat exchanger but given one shower works and one doesn’t. Could it be the expansion vessel needs replacing or re-pressurising?

I’ve cleaned the heat exchanger a few times now. Do I need a new one or is cleaning it just as good?

Thanks for you help

Nothing to do with the EV.
Sounds more like an issue with the shower ,is it a thermostatic mixer type ?
Is your hot water temperature excessively hot from taps ?

You’re right. I undid the shower hose, it was broken inside with part of the hose mis-aligned. Lined it up, seems to work now.

Will order a new hose.

Should have thought of this before!!
