We had a side extension done to our house with EPDM roof and noticed the builders left the timbers exposed at the corner points
We flagged with them and they came back and added the plastic round the edges to make a proper seal, but since then we've noticed they also left timbers exposed underneath of the overhang- they said this is fine but building regs raised an eyebrow and said over time will rot if we leave as is
Is this true and if so, how is it rectified? Would they have to replace the whole section or can they fix some pvc to just the exposed parts?
Thanks
