Hello,
I currently have a foundation which is about 2m x 7m at the rear of my garden. The foundation sits almost a foot high off the ground and has a single skin of bricks in the front. I would like to extend the foundation by a further 10m^2 in front. I received a quote for the job, which includes removing all the soil to about 10cm below ground. This means the total volume the foundation extension would occupy is about 10M^2 x 0.4m deep. This tranlates to 4m^3. The quote includes laying 10cm thick worth of concrete and building a new brick wall in the front. And of course filling up the hole with hardcore.
All this for £1400? Am I being ripped off?
loiphin.
