Hi, My inner and outer extension walls will be joining the house into a doorway. I have tried to draw it!
Is this the correct way of joining it? Or should I continue the house cavity in to the extension cavity?
Thanks - The internal wall will be sitting on a concrete garage floor - Is this OK or would it need to be smashed out and the internal wall accessed and built on?
The garage has a solid concrete floor by the door. Would this need to be removed or could it be built on? I'm assuming the garage floor has been built over the foundation walls?
If there is a foundation below that section of slab, and the concrete is definitely on the wall not floating above it, you can build on it, but it's always best to remove the concrete.
