Hi. I have a job painting an exterior mural but have just found out its a newly rendered wall. (I have only painted over old ones indoors : ) someone mentioned using Masonry Conditioner first -
I've never heard of this and wanted to know if its something I should look into. Also I've had conflicting advise as to how long I should leave a newly rendered wall before painting?
The plan was to
1. Clean and prepare Surface - Primer Masonry Conditioner?
2. White base coat and background -Smooth Breathable Masonry Paint acrylic resin 2 coats.
3. I'm using mainly acrylic / latex for the bulk of the design
4. removable Sealant
any sound advise would be great as each time I look into it another question pops up. I want it to look good and last, and was hoping you could foresee any mistakes I may make.
