It's not turning on and I assume it's because I had turned off the oil supply. The supply is back on now, do I need to reset it some how. The boiler doesn't have any indicators on it, no lights etc. Just a temp/off dial and a limit reset thing that kinds of hangs down. It presses in slightly and feels loose.

Thanks

Does it not try to start? Motor run?
Have you pressed the burner reset or the high limit stat? If you turned off the oil and have caused an air lock, then it should at least spin the burner motor before locking out.

Thanks for the replies and offers to help. A new house and first time with an oil boiler, I didn't realise that the red disk that looks like a light is a reset button until I watched YouTube. Pressed it and works!
