External drains

I’ve had my drains upgraded however I’m not sure it’s correct, they have installed a connector pipe going away from the manhole so would it pass building regulations. Would you leave it or tell them to change it round. Can you advise.

To add the waste is from the kitchen sink.

Thank you. I’ve no photos but the drain flow was towards the manhole round the side of the house, now the flow is opposite as you see in the picture, if I tried to rod it, it would go away from the manhole so how would I unblock it.

The waste doesn't have to go to the manhole, it has to join in the direction of flow.
if it's downstream of the manhole then it's going to point away.
It's still going to need some form of access to clear blockages though.
