Hi,
I am rendering a small garage for a friend of the family, i have rendered before but only on new built walls!
The wall i am rendering is an old wall, never rendered etc.
I need to know how to fix the angle beads to the corners and obviously stopbeads for around window. I would use nails but as this is an old wall the blocks would chip easily expecially in the corners, and i do not really like using thistle. I have heard of using a grab adhesive, stick like sh*t? Is this okay?
Also a friend of mine who is a builder has said due to the wall being so old the render may not stick to it correctly so fit eml sheets before applying a scratch coat, is this correct or is there another method?
Any help would be great, thanks.
Regards,
Mikey
