I live in a semi-detached house built by Wimpy in the late 70s. Block and block cavity wall construction, and the cavity has been filled with insulating polystyrene beads. Will the gable wall in the roof space (the triangular bit of the gable wall) also be double-skin with an air gap? Or as there is not real need for it to be insulated will it be a single thickness wall?

The cavity wall is continuous all the way up.
