External Wall insulation - qualifications or certification

Hi

I am acting on behalf of my mum in raising complaints on EWI

Do labourers (not the official installation company) require official training and certification or can anyone work on it as long as they're employed or contracted by a company.

If qualifications are needed cns someone please give some details as to which are required and if it's UK based certificates only.

Qualifications are not required by the operatives or the contractor.

If the work is grant funded, there may be some criteria required by the funder.
