Hi

Just a question - I have a conservatory on the back of my house - this means that what was the back of the house - ie the kitchen is now going into the conservatory. The access to the conservatory is via the dining room, however I would like to remove what was an exterior window and leave it open to make the rooms more open plan - my question is is this more complicated than just removing the window? I would hate for the house to fall down!!

heeeelllloooo sarahbear and welcome

assuming its a lean to addition and the origional doors are intact

you would then need planning permision [as the conservitory will then be part of the house ]!!!!
you would need to comply with building regs !!!
and your insurance company would need to be informed incase security was an issue!!!!!
