Hi

I was wanting to change the current extractor fan in the en suite due to damp issues.

I’ve purchased a Vent Axia solo plus T. Currently the fan is connected via isolator switch to a manual switch outside room. There is ducting in the roof.

Below are pictures of the old wiring and new device as well as the instruction diagrams. Would anyone be kind enough to advise which and where wires of old fan goes into new as the seem to be different to diagrams? I wanted to stick with the manual switch control rather than timing or auto.

Many thanks

Thanks

Basic question. How would I connect L and LS? What would happen if I don’t?

Your main problem is that you don't have a separate permanent live so you can't use the timer function

Also how much airflow do you get into the room with the window closed? The fan needs to draw warm air into the room for it to be most effective

Finally got around to doing this. It’s working perfectly. Thanks for all the help.
