I need to make a roller blind 100cm wide, with 150cm drop but very very thin, because it's behind the old fashioned curtain.

What's my best option? Should I go and find a tube of stainless steel from a merchant and fix on some ends ?

Any ideas?

I have about 3cm ish for the entire thickness of the roller

Blinds usually in the recess and curtains outside that , should be loads of room.

Mine are IKEA, I think at least 50mm including brackets:

Have you considered "pleated cellular blinds"? Might be a bit slimmer.

Cheers I think you are right, I can put them in the front part of the top sash .... will have a look at the cellular blinds as well.
Thanks
