We are after a new double oven, as our current electric one is old and doesn't work properly. I was just wondering if the same thing exists in gas? We have always preferred gas in the past, but switched when the new kitchen was fitted. The gas pipe for the hobs runs behind the oven housing, so a gas source is present. I have seen gas built-under ovens, but never eye level. Is it because of some kind of safety issue?

i have a Hygena Classic, eye level grill and oven, with a seperate hob
I think that model may not be available anymore. Does anyone know why they are so rare? I was wondering if it was a safety issue. The only fitted gas doubles appear to be built under. I did hear someone mention Stoves as a possibility.
