Hello Guys
This is technically a continuation of my thread down below, but the subject matter has now kind of changed and that thread is getting a bit long...
If you have read the thread, I asked for opinions as whether I should keep or bin my leaded light windows. Nearly all opinion on here sided with keeping them!
I am keen to do this, however they do need a good amount of TLC to bring them up to standard.....however..to my surprise....I am really struggling to find a Joiner in the area who is keen to do the job!?
I have either being left with un-answered emails or quotes (based on good images I have shown) them of around £2500 per bay, before any leaded light repair or secondry glazing!. They all seem to (at the same time) be keen to recommend the virtues of new timber frames and encapsulation...as if they are trying to put me off doing any restoration...
I seem to be falling into a gap where the restoration job is not big enough and at the same time, too time consuming to be worth their time....
I have got another company who specialises in timber window restoration coming out to do a visual assessment, but I am concerned I will get a similar quote!
Any experienced carpenters on here care to offer their opinion on the quotes I have been given, is this what I should be expecting?
Please see old thread for images etc.

Thank you all!
