Hi folks,
I'm about to replace an F & E tank in my loft. It's supplied from a tee off the main: about 2.5 metres from tee to tank.
Since the float valve will rarely, if ever, open after initial filling, and therefore result in 2.5m of stagnant water, should I be fitting a check valve close to the tee or some other arrangement? Concerned that I'll effectively have a lengthy dead-leg.
Many thanks for reading...
