Anyone tell me roughly what angles I need to be cutting on my mitre saw for the bay facia ?

I am due to replace all the wood soon as it is old and needs repainting. Just not sure what angle I will use on my saw.

I prob will do some testers with waste wood, but thought someone would be able to say what the angle is that I need on here. Here's hoping :)

I suppose the external angle could be 135 deg

So the angle to cut is 180 -135 = 55deg / 2 is 27.5deg on the chop saw.

But it’s a bay, the angle could be anything, one corner might even be different to the other

Ok great thanks.

Is the best thing to help to get the angle a bevel ? And then use a protractor to get that angle

isn't 180-135 45 degree ? So it would be a 22.5 degree cut
