Fair quote / Glow worm

Can anyone give me an idea of fairness for a quote we've had to replace our existing old boiler/heater with a combi-boiler. The quote is about £2700 (incl. VAT) and is for a glow worm unit.

Also, how do the glow worm stack up against other units?

How long is a piece of string.......in some situations its ia a good price in others its a rip off. Need more details on what you have now and where and whats going in and where.

The suppliers round here will cut eachothers throats for a sale, obviously can`t say how much for a 30cdi on here, but we do alright out of it, plenty of work, and, more importantly, very happy customers who then tell their friends and family! Can`t beat word of mouth in this game!

How the hell`s he getting away with that? Seems to me we`re throwing away our money with all the training, exams, energy efficiency, corgi registration etc, when it`s the public that need educating!
