False Chimney

Hi All

Im looking for some tips on how to build a false chimney breast that will incorporate a Plasma screen with holes for the surround sound speakers either side and below the screen.

I have planned to make a timber frame and screw it to the wall then clad it with plasterboard.

Then get it skimmed paint it and put the plasma in.

I have never done anything like this so any tips would be appreiciated.

what will you do if plasma screen over heats / needs replacing?
