Hi. I'm having problems with a door contact on a Menvier 30 system. It's on a UPVC door that isn't regularly opened, just occasionally. Perhaps once in every five times the door is closed, even if it isn't slammed, the vibrations trigger the anti-tamper button underneath, putting the system into a tamper state.

I've replaced the contact twice already, and made sure it is flush against the door frame and screwed in as tight as possible. But whatever I do it seems that the tamper still gets triggered. Any advice please anyone?

Have you tried a different type; this one's obviously too sensitive. But I'd also question the need for an anti tamper door contact. As long as the anti tamper cables go to the switch, I don't think anyones going to have the time to try messing around with the switch whilst in the house with you.
