I am preparing a roof on my shed and planning how the fascia will work with my rubber roof.
To keep costs down, I was going to use a white fascia, cut to size.
Here is my current progress:
The joists will be cut to size and I am aiming for around 5cm of overhang.
I think I need to fit some sort of timber across the face of these cut joists, bond my membrane to this and nail a fascia on to this.
Can I get your thoughts on this please.
Specifically, what type of timber do you recommend for the joist face and do I fit this first and then cut the OSB flush to this, or does it go on after the OSB?
Thanks in advance.
