it was a snap on bit of kit my mercanic is waiting to find out what the codes mean

i have no idear about the p number and the u number but its a 51 plate thats done 62k

i'd make sure he was using the right key chip on the scanner as it should read a P0*** number on something that new. Having said that, Vauxhalls can be a pig to read. It might have been some connection error code for the scanner
