Hello all, anyone have any advice re: loss of AC measuring on Fluke 73 other parts seem OK?
Many thanks.

Before mine got nicked a good while back, I seem to recall there were two fuses inside....one 15A and one around 0.6A. Only a guess though!
Have you checked these Dave? Beware though, there are static sensitive components inside quality meters!
John :)

Not really mate, I'd be quite happy to take it apart if it was mine just to check the fuse situation but anything more than that I'd send it back to the manufacturer.

Sorry John, that last reply was in response to someone else who wanted more information on the multimeter. So, thanks for the advice. The fact that mine reads direct DC, and ohms and low values of ACV etc. suggests the fuses are OK. So, I am likely to use a calibration and repair outfit. Regards David.
