I established here some weeks ago that my Ideal Isar boiler has a faulty diverter valve, as my radiators get hot when central heating is off.
My boiler has a hot (tap) water pre-heat function and this hot water is flowing into my radiators due to the diverter valve not closing off.
Anyway, before I get it repaired, should I leave it as it is until next summer? Im thinking that this may be of benefit during the winter as the radiators stay warm at night when CH is switched off. Or is this uneconomical?
Should I repair it now or leave until the end of winter?
Cheers.
