Hello all, our boiler is a Vaillant Ecomax 824e, which gives us hot water but no central heating. Initially, we thought the problem was related to the thermostat but that was replaced and it still doesn't seem to be working. We have reset the boiler and fiddled around with it to no end.
When the thermostat is turned on, it builds up from code 0 to code 4 and stays there for a few minutes, then it goes from code 4 to code 8, and finally to code 6.
Code 4 is heating on, code 8 is anti-cycling mode and code 6 is boiler shut down (on CH or DHW Thermostat).
The thermostat is fine, fitted correctly and works (otherwise it wouldn't turn on, right?), so do you guys have any ideas on what might be going wrong?
