Hi gents,

After reading also sorts of info, I am now confused as to whether I can fit FCUs in zone 3.

3 questions please...

1. I am fitting a downflow heater in an en-suite. My intention is to connect the flex to a DP FCU, I have no option but to fit the heater and FCU in zone 3 because of the size of the room. Is this ok?

2. I am also fitting a mirror/vanity unit with built in light and shaver unit above the sink. It is class 2 double insulated. Half the unit will be in zone 2, the rest in zone 3, connected via flex to a DP FCU in zone 3. Is this ok?

3. If you can't use an FCU in zone 3, how do you connect the flex to the power supply?

FCU outside the zones, and flex outlet plates where you need the cables...

had to do this in a block of flats.. FCU outside the door, backing onto a flex outlet to feed the towel rad..
