fdw 80 dishwasher al10 fault code - newbie

Hi
got hotpoint fdw 80 dishwasher. its 12 mths and 3 weeks old - so no guarantee - great. keeps showing fault code al10 - which from net serches suggests its the heater element

before i take it to bits - can anyone help / confirm this is the problem ?

also where can get parts in southampton area ??
