Hi, can I fit a fused connection unit against the wall inside the coooker hood? I want to hide the fcu for tidyness and I do not have wall cupboards close by. Can I do this or will there be a condensation issue. Incidentally the hood will be the recirculation type. If I can't any other ideas? thanks

If your FCU is going to be exposed to the stuff that's being extracted (steam & grease... lovely!) then don't install it there. And remember that, should you ever need to change the fuse you need to be able to get at it... without gagging, preferably. You may just have to accept that having it on view need not be all that unsightly - you can get decorative finish ones you know.

If you put the FCU outside the hood and a little higher, no-one will notice it.
