Felt support tray/eaves comb fixing to UPVC Fascia question

Hi all,

Trying to figure out how to fix the felt support tray/eaves comb when using a 19mm Fascia. I can only find answers that assume a timber fascia.

Should I put a timber batten a bit further back and fix into that??

The u'pvc fascia should accept fixing nails of the ring shank variaty, these will allow you to follow the timber fixing instructions you already have...pinenot
