A few snippets from the last 3 weeks of fencing wars!

3 hours on a night after work and 3 weekends to resurrect our 10 year old fence.

All new posts sat in 3 foot by 200mm holes packed in gravel for drainage.

2 tons of gravel carried in builders buckets by me and my wife through the house (did a ton in an hour!).

Fence was originally built as 1 continuous run so had to cut it into sections and re-post to suit.

Nearly 200 100mm Timba screws and 11 tubs of Ronseal Fence Life Plus hand painted, 40 new fence posts.

Knew it was going to be a pain but not that bad!.

Looks great!! Did the neighbours help out too?

Nope, council owned both sides so I was all on my own!. To be fair one side is currently empty and the lady in the other side is a nice neighbour but not built for fencing work!.

Just ordered some panels for front, nothing flash just some 6'x3' and 3 inch posts..

Debating wether to just Metpost those in or use the hand auger..

Cleared all this out of neighbours to access last two post locations, decided to hand dig them due to roots etc (didn't mind being as the last two!).
