Fernox F1/F3 on Megaflo HE CL170

Hi Guys,

Can I ask for a bit of advice, please? I am planning to change a radiator and install a new thermostatic valve. So I will need to drain the system for that.

I was thinking about taking this opportunity to clean the system with Fernox F3 and then refill with Fernox F1 + F4. My question is - would F3 and F4 be safe to use on the following setup:

- Megaflo HE CL170 tank
- Potterton Promax 15 HE boiler

The system is approx 10-15 years old, boiler serviced annually (if this matters).

I have seen a warning on the Fernox F3 label about using that with indirect cylinders, hence my question.

Any help will be much appreciated.
