Hi, can anyone tell me is Fernox F3 inhibited while its left in the system for 7days in other words is the system rusting while it is in?. Also since the cleaners been in the vent over the fe tank has been venting a little surge of water on pump speed 2 only each time the pump is turned off. I've turned it down to speed 1 for now and it's stopped venting over so hope to look at this when I drain down. Can anyone tell me where the sludge or debris could be trapped to cause this. When the pump starts up on speed 2 the water level fails in the fe tanks by ages mm's and doesn't appear to recover until the pump story s when the water comes back out the vent. It's a gravity hot water and pumped central heating system. 15mm feed to the bottom of the hot cylinder coil and 22mm vent to the top of the coil. It was not pumping over before I drained down and put the cleaner in 5 days ago as I looked for this on speed 2 and 3 before draining down to put the F3 in.
