Ferroli Domina N80

Have a Ferroli bolier that only seems to function at a higher than recommended pressure. Its non working pressure is 2.8 bar and increases to 3.5 bar when the heating is on. This in turn causes the overflow to drip water.

Have bled radiators to reduce to pressure to 1.5 bar but when the heating is turned on it just goes up to the aforementioned pressures.

I do not have a high level of boiler knowledge so looking for help and advice to solve the issue (if indeed it is one).

either your expansion vessel needs re-charging or the communication hose is blocked
