Ask them why the doors are 30mm too narrow. Our man allows a (total) 10mm fitting gap on the sides and top. He may push it to 15mm if the wall jambs are suspect.20mm short on both sides
Thank you all. I’ll call the company in the morning about replacement doors. They’re back at the end of the week to install a pane of glass that was dropped at the depot so I’ll recommend the trim for the meantime. I’m covering the foam with external filler as it’s going to rain in the week. Definitely won’t do longterm.
Horrid. Its all sealed in. Get them to fit two cover trims either side and forget about the gap.Someone else has advised that the only decent fix apart from new doors that fit, is to take the doors out and get matching packers / extensions added to the sides.
