Filling gaps between floorboards

Hello.

I am planning on sanding and varnishing my floorboards but before I get started want to know my options with filling gaps between floorboards?

You can buy strips of wood specifically for that purpose or, make your own if you have the tools.

You're going to have a draughty floor, even if you fill the gaps between the boards.
