My newly installed plasterboard has cracked in a few places. I filled and sanded this down before painting and the cracks are opening again. It feels to me that I should ;et these cracks develop over the next 6 months and once they have fully formed and the settling has taken place, then fill and paint. Is that the way it should be done as else I suspect the cracks will re-appear if I fill again.
