filling plasterboards joints

going to put new boards up,not going to plaster them,just going to wallpaper on top of the new boards,what is the best material to use to cover the joints,was going to use wicks jointing compound,any one else prefer anything else

use fibre tape and fill the joints with the drywall adhesive making sure your not proud of the boards, use taperered edge boards, this stuff is hard to sand down, once set go over with jointing compound. (make sure you cleanoff any drywall adhesive).
