Filling shower hole for mixing water pipes

Hi

Pic explains most, simply want to know what to fill the hole with, ie silicoln, grout...

The pic is the side of the wall and wher the pipe comes out to go to mix unit

I know the pipe mount, junction thing ahould be flush with shower wall but builder made a mistake and I cant call him back!

Can anybody help??

i would buy a cover for it mate

I have a cover but of course water would get behind it. My concern is if I ever need to unscrew the pipes and could not as they are cemented in

hard to tell in the pic but looks to wide for grout

get a pipe shroud and put a bead of silicone around where it sits on the wall and where the pipe comes out of it.
