Kenmore washer will go thru final drain but will not always final spin. Sometimes by opening the top door I can insert screwdriver in door switch and hear a relay click, then it will spin. The machine is less than 10 years old. Is it the door switch or the relay? Other suggestions will be helpful.

It sounds like your lid switch is working intimately. Check it with an ohm meter while pressing it back and forth to be sure.
