Hi,

A supplier fitted UPVC sash windows with the intention to come back and add architraves around them.

however we have run out of money, and I would like to fit the architraves myself (ive done skirting boards and door architraves).

I don't understand how I would approach architrave on these windows though, the bit of uPVC at the bottom has confused me.

Any ideas of comments welcome

Thin plastic trim around to cover gap maybe?

The bit at the bottom is part of the Integral cill. I'm a little confused as to why they have set them so far back Into the property, in fact the main frame is flush with the internal plaster, thus pushing the back of the cill within the property. Normally that wouldn't happen and that edge of the cill isn't visible . You'd need to try and cut a piece of plastic to cover that and then a small trim where the window meets existing plaster
