Finishing Internal Doors

I have had some internal doors fitted which are currently bare hard wood (dark in colour), which looks fine but I would like to coat them with some sort of finish that would protect them against spillages, finger marks, etc. can anyone suggest what I could use?

I was going to guess on Linseed Oil

Danish oil, contains linseed and other chemicals.

Should I try Danish Oil then?

I really don't mind them looking like they are but protected in some way, i.e. so I can wipe them clean if need be, I also don't want a 'film forming finish'; like varnish, either.
