How should skim beads be finished? I have just had some plastering done and the metal of the bead (solid corner not mesh) shows through. My plasterer tells me this is normal and just needs multiple coats of paint. Is this normal and how do I paint it? Do i treat with a metal primer before painting with emulsion? Thanks
